Together we discuss Emma’s adoption story and the impact of being abandoned at birth. She talks about her turbulent twenties which led to the founding of Body & Soul, and the powerful journey of healing her Mother wound.

Emma Colyer is founder and director of innovative charity ‘Body & Soul’. The charity uses a comprehensive, community-based and trauma informed approach to address the life-threatening effects of childhood adversity in people of all ages. In 1996 Body & Soul was established to address the gap in HIV services that provided targeted support for children, young people, and families.
